Phimosis

• Cancel: those cases that cannot be included in either of the two previous groups.
• Punctiform: the foreskin opening is minimal, barely visible, with the surrounding skin of normal appearance and thickness.
• Scarring: the skin surrounding the preputial orifice is thickened.

Symptoms and diagnosis of phimosis

Phimosis usually does not cause discomfort, but depending on its severity, it can present the following:

• It eliminates the fear of producing an unwanted pregnancy, therefore allowing you to enjoy sexuality more.
• Pain, swelling or redness of the foreskin.
• Inability to fully retract the foreskin at age 3 or older.
• Inflammation of the glans.
• Thick secretion under the foreskin, sometimes producing a bad odor.
• Discomfort during sexual relations.

Phimosis is a simple operation that takes about 25 minutes.
